DID I?
The concept is the disclosure of personal experience through work with the image of the body. Comprehension and fixation
of feelings and forms in the moments of dissociation.
Human consciousness needs a reference framework. This frame is the human body.
Body image is a living synthesis of our emotional experiences. It is the basis for the image of “ego” (in Freud’s terms). The image of the body determines how a person experiences and recognizes his body, what connections and relationships exist between him and his own body, how he treats him, himself and others.
Traumatic experiences and something that is difficult for a person to bear can lead
to a limitation in the use of sense organs. A person can perceive certain parts of the body
as inaccessible to him. In clinical terms this is called “partial dissociation.”
I want to show the search for form not through the objective boundaries of our body, but through the subjective perception of these boundaries. Because it is this subjective boundary that provides a feeling of comfort.
Your boundaries don’t end where your body’s boundaries end.
They follow the contours of your consciousness.
